The Story

Morrisons wanted to re evaluate the experience in their supermarkets. As one of the big 4  in the UK, they wanted to differentiate themselves from the competition and to do so they created a test store in Leeds and set out a plan to build their vision of ‘the store of the future’. The Morrisons Store of the Future project aimed to make the most of Morrisons fresh offering, inspired by the look and feel of a fresh market.

Over 9 months we developed the visual offering to customers. By redesigning the way categories were merchandised and the visual of the POS it made the user experience a more enjoyable one for customers and staff alike.

The results were a huge success and the new look was rolled out across the 600 UK stores.
